A Russian called Semyon Kirlian first found Kirlian photography in 1939. He discovered it by accident when he left a glass plate on a table near an electronic device that created a field of electricity and when he looked there was an image on the plate with an aura around it.

This later was researched to find out why and what this aura was. Since then there are a few uses for this photography such as diagnostic for health and looking and measuring the energy that surround the physical life form.

The energy that is photographed was seen as an energy force that is outside of the physical body of a living thing. This is proof that life is more than its physical body. There is lots of proof that we have an energy field around us now.

With modern technology it is possible to measure the electro magnetic energy coming out of the heart {1}.

The Chinese have always talked about the chi of the body and universe as being the life force of all life.

Electromagnetic energy is thought to be a matrix for the growth of the body inside the womb, the limbs are formed through a pre set pattern {2}.

Electromagnetic energy is closely entwined with all life. The magnetic field is also entwined: there are experiments that show the reaction of the emotional energy given out en mass when a devastation thing happens in the world such as 9/11, when the tsunami happened in Asia and when lady Diana died.

There have been many experiments to prove that we are far more than the sum of our physical body, this is a new way to see ourselves as humans and what we could do to make a big difference in our world and universe. Some things remain the same such as the conservation of energy.  Energy is indestructible it can only be transferred into a different state of existence.

There are many other energy fields that have been proven to exist and some that have not yet been proven.

Kirlian photography is a form of photogram.  A photogram is a photographic image made without a camera by placing objects directly onto the surface of a photosensitive material, such as photographic paper and then exposing it to light.

The result is a negative shadow image with various tones depending on the transparency of the objects used. Areas of the paper that have received no light appear white; those exposed through transparent or semi-transparent objects appear grey.

Semyon Kirlian accidentally discovered that if an object on a

Photographic plate is connected to a source of high voltage it will create an image on the photographic plate with what is called a corona, this is created by the strong electric field at the edges of the object.

In electricity a corona dischargeis an electrical discharge brought on by the ionization of fluid surrounding a conductor, this occurs when the strength of the electric field exceeds a certain value, but conditions are insufficient to cause complete electrical arcing.

A conductor is a material, which contains movable electric charges in metallic conductors, such as copper or aluminium; the movable charged particles are electrons.

Positive charges may also be moving in the form of atoms.

Mr Kirlian claimed that the image might be compared to the human aura. There was a lot of controversy about this statement. There were experiments done on a living leaf that was then photographed at set periods to see how the aura declined as the leaf dried up and died.

The experiment did show a difference in the strength of the aura but many people said that it was simple the moisture that was being photographed and had nothing to do with the aura. This photography was done in black and white film.

As time went on they started to experiment with colour. The first coloured photographs were of a magnet and a coin the corona is similar to that obtained with black and white film, but in this case, two fundamental colours are found magenta and blue.

Photographs were taken of fingers that showed the same color patterns. There was a difference in the symmetry of the fingers, certain areas showed a difference in density and color to other areas.

To help with the diagnostic idea the fingers were photographed based on acupuncture, this showed that areas on the fingers represented different parts of the body’s main organs.

The relationship to the different colors and the organs could be used as a diagnostic tool, to tell how a person’s health is. This system seems rational and has certain logic.

Hundreds of color photographs taken with the idea of being able to set up  a diagnostic  system that would give a sense of the credibility of this idea, this system was  being used in Portugal. The problem with it was in the interpretation of the images in diagnoses, although the system was consistent, it was not technically credible, because it was not based on acceptable medical theories.

As was said before, the main problem with Kirlian photography is the interpretation of the images. Several interpretation methods exist, the most credible to use is that of Dr. Peter Mandel. Titled: Energy Emission Analysis, New Applications of Kirlian photography for Holistic Health. His system uses the acupuncture points of the hands and feet. There were four basic types of phenomena: Normal emission, Deficiency, Aggression, and Degeneration. This was generally used in Europe at that time.

My own thoughts on this is that whatever causes the image it is an image of something that was not quite understood at that time, whether it was due to moisture or not I think that it could be called an aura of the body. I am not sure if it should be used alone for the interpretation for disease but coupled with the medical science we have now, it could be useful in diagnosing holistically using all our technology.

As time progressed on, there is now much more technology and there have been lots more research on these imagines that surround our bodies. The scientists have developed methods to measure this field.

Energy fields start with the outer region of the universe. Earth is under the influence of a great energy field that emanates from the center of the Milky Way.

At the present time our solar system is traveling across the center of the galaxy. We are the closes to that central black hole than we have been for many 100s of years and the energy field of that gravitational pull is affecting our solar system and in turn us.

As we move in closer to home the earth is under the influence of our suns energy field, along with the other planets and the moon. The effects of these are directly felt on earth and are responsible for the life on earth.

Outside of our earths gravitational field, that keeps life on earth in balance for growth, the energy from the sun sends out bursts of radiation that move around the energy field that protects earth such as the van Allen belt and gravitation.

The momentum of the moon has the power to move our oceans every day. There is also within the gravitational field the magnetic fields and the electro magnetic fields. The magna, volcanoes and tectonic plates that mould the earth, are thought to be affected by these fields.

As with macro so it is with micro. The energy fields that cannot be seen with the naked eye are thought to be of a quantum nature. The quantum theory is the study of the extremely small particles and their fields. Slowly now the scientists are being able to prove through repeatable experiments that such fields exist.

Through the ages the ancient peoples have been aware of the life forces and have used them and written about them.

Kirlian photography proved that living things have energy round them, an aura. Now it’s proven that all living things emit a light that France Fritz Popp calls bio photons.

This light is a very weak energy of light, it is electro- magnetic in nature and it does not stem from the usual light of the sun directly. It is in food water air and can be absorbed into the body from all life around us.

Popp has been able to measure the way the bio -photon creates and destroys life. In a healthy body the bio photon emits light at just the right rate to produce pulses of instruction to the organs to keep them healthy. In cancer patients, the bio photon emits not enough light and cancer grows. In m s sufferers, the light emits too much and the organs and bones get overloaded and that causes them to malfunction.

In a single cell the thought is that the bio photon is responsible for the multiplying of the cells of a baby so the each part of the human body is produced in the right order and place. Its like these photons are the matrix of life and have the patterns within them to produce all of the diversity on life in our world.

This process of growth has lead scientists to the idea of a coherent bio photon field. The discovery of bio photon emission also gives some scientific support to more unconventional methods of healing such as homeopathy and acupuncture.

The "chi" energy flowing in our bodies, energy channels (meridians), which according to Traditional Chinese Medicine, regulates our body functions, may be related to the bio photon field. A similar energy is used in Yoga.

Looking at the biological nature of that matrix, it is not so hard to see that self-healing can and does work. With the energy of thought and the energy from our emotional love, this light can be kept in the correct balance for our own health.

I know it to be true in my own right. I have been using a method of self -healing through the practice of the art of Chi Kung and Tai Chi for 25 years. The object of the meditation and exercises were to keep in balance and store chi. it was thought that chi exists everywhere as minute particles of light. [Bio photons] and was directly responsible for the life force of all living things. We were told that it is in the air, water and the universe and could be balanced by the thoughts that we gave it whilst we practiced the Chinese art.

We were taught that its is electro magnetic in nature and by using our conscious thought and the right emotion we could evolve this energy field into what is called shen [spirit]. So the ancient Chinese new about the life force as did other ancient tribes.

Going back to thoughts. In light of what I know and do the idea that thought is an energy field does not need to be proven to me because I am experiencing it.

We can influence our balance and send distant healing to others these things have been proven {3}.

We can also change the vibration frequency of a specific place with continual thoughts in meditation that has been shown to last up to 10 days. {4}.  How does it work? There are thoughts about a unified field  {5}.  That is everywhere in the universe and this field connects all life. The scientists are getting closer to understanding this quantum idea.

The worldview of life and how we existed is changing with the outcome of the latest experiment.  The old mechanical idea is being replace by a different way of looking at life. It makes sense to how life is, when thought of as interconnected energy fields within us and outside of us, all interconnected and that the thought energy field can direct them.

So one type of field can interact within another. I can physically feel the chi in other living things, plants, animal’s and people. I suspect that all people can if they let themselves.

The experiments have proven that the magnetic and electro magnetic fields have a direct influence on the life force or is it the other way round!

Because of the experiments on energy fields we know that the heart can emit powerful electro magnetic energy outward to at least 8 feet and the scientist suspect that it can go as far as the though can send it.

So are we influencing the electro magnetic and magnetic fields or are they influence us?  Or is there a greater intelligence overseeing the perfect balance in our universe.   If thoughts and heart felt love are an energy force and can be directed out to another person at some distance could this be classed as telepathy and clairvoyance?

William G Braud wrote a paper on remote mental influence of electro dermal activity. This is a change in the electrical properties of the skin in response to stress or anxiety; can be measured either by recording the electrical resistance of the skin, or by recording weak currents generated by the body.

This is what was used as an experiment for telepathy and clairvoyance. In the early days these subjects were known as parapsychology or psychical research. Now they are known as psychophysiology and conditioning and learning.

In 1900’s Russian scientists were exploring a new phenomena called ‘conditional reflexes.’ Ivan Pavlov was one of these and was interested in the phenomena of hypnosis and in the unusual physiological and psychological function of the psychiatric patients.

In 1952 Pavlov wrote that when mans conscious activity is altered [by hypnosis or some other reason], his ability to differentiate is sharpened during states of clairvoyance, this ability in man reaches infinite sharpness. We now call this instrumental conditioning. It was Vladimir Bekhterev who in 1976 did work on investigations of telepathic influence in dogs and in remote hypnotic influence of humans.

He is better known for his work in reflexology but in 1922 he was know for his study of suggestion investigation to look at the spontaneous case of psychic phenomena psychological effect of magnetic fields in hypnotized subjects and distant mental suggestion of hypnotized subjects.

Leonid Vasiliev carried out a lot of experiments of this type. This work was done within a physiological frame. Vasiliev used the electromagnetic hypothesis of telepathy developed by an Italian neurologist F. Cazzamalli.

This work was conducted from 1921 – 1938 then discontinued until 1960 when it was re-established and continued until his death in 1966. Vasilier’s team used careful selected experiments, to test distant influence, [mental suggestion]. The general findings were able to demonstrate positive results, that mental suggestion had no barrier to metals and the faraday chamber screening.

This is a metal chamber, to protect whatever is inside, from the effects of electrical charges such as lightening and to some of the electromagnetic energy on the outside of the box. It does not protect from the earths magnetic field because this field is not too strong.

He also identified psychological facts that could impede or facilitate the effects.

Braud and Schmidt replicated these earlier experiments with good results in 1989. Rupert Sheldrake did up to date experiments using the predicted phone calls that could be proven positive.

James R Knippengorg talks about telepathy as being part of our life, when you pick up a depressed or happy mood from someone you are with. There is a general idea that could prove that clairvoyance and telepathy is one and the same thing. It seems to me, that we do have this energy connectedness and if a person is sensitive enough, telepathy is quite normal and has now been extensively researched.

These thoughts, that there is a connection between clairvoyance and telepathic abilities, tie in with the idea of the unified field and the fact that energy is indestructible. It looks like there is an amount of energy in our universe that changes all the time, going from one type into another. in a never ending dance.

Barbara Neville A3 section 9:The Psycho-Physical

Bridge Personal no 0/01/028 date 20/7/11

The nervous system controls all the body’s functions. There are three different sections that deal with separate parts of the body. The central nervous system [CNS] is the brain and the spinal cord: the nerves are called the peripheral nervous system [PNS] and the autonomic nervous system [ANS] this is also called the sympathetic or parasympathetic system.

The CNS is the central system; the PNS are the nerves that connect the CNS to the organs and muscles of the body. This sends motor impulses, to the voluntary muscles of the body. [1]p306

The ANS is self-controlling; it controls unconscious systems like breathing, digesting food and blood circulation. And involuntary muscles like the blood vessels, soft abdominal organs, bladder and glands like saliva and sweat glands.

The [ANS} is a series of ganglia; these are masses of nerve cells that are situated outside of the brain and spinal cord. Ganglia often interconnect with other ganglia to form a plexus. [2]p336

The brain and the spinal cord is made up of many nerves fibers that are called white and grey matter. The spinal cord runs from the neck to the hip area. It carries nerve messages between the brain and the body. It monitors and regulates the body's actions and reactions and continuously receives sensory information, it analysis’s data and responds accordingly with bodily actions and functions. [3]p309

The endocrines system is a set of organs called glands; they keep the basic function of the body under control and balanced and they regulate mood, growth, development and tissue function.

This system is in charge of body processes that happen slowly, such as cell growth. Faster processes like breathing and body movement are controlled by the nervous system [4] p289

Nerve impulses are small electric currants that travel through a single cell to carry information

from one end of the cell, the receptor, to the other end, the dendrites. All nerve cells have these. There is a small gap in between these two and neuron transmitters carry the impulse across the gap, this is a chemical that binds the receptors to the next nerve cell triggering changes in the receiving cell that sends the electrical signal down to its axon where it release’s the neurotransmitters that are picked up by the next receiving nerve cell. The process repeats itself until the impulse reaches its destination.

Some neurotransmitters excite the neighboring cells others inhibit the cells. [5]

Charkas, auras and acupuncture points in the body are energies that are not as dense as our physical body but they are still an energy or vibration that directly pertains to our body and our lives.  [6]. Energy has a spectrum of vibration that goes from the highest to the lowest. So the energy of the charka, auras and meridian lines must be part of that spectrum that is beyond visual perception, but we can feel it and some can see it.

Charkas stem from Buddhism and other relegious sources.  The aura and meridian lines also have their roots in ancient times. More up to date information proves that there is an invisible connection with earth universe and all living things. It can be called the L field or divine matrix it is an invisible energy that binds all life together. The theory says this matrix has a consciousness and it holds the blue print to all organized physical life. And this energy produces an aura around live things.

Dr Kilner in 1800s proved that the aura did exist by inventing a slide to look through to see the aura around the human body and later Kirlian photography was discovered.

The charkas have not been proven scientifically, research says the energy produced by certain collection of nerves register a higher level of vibration than other nerves in the body.  It is thought the charkas are connected to the endocrine system of the body through the main glands of the body. The acupuncture system has been researched and is found to aid health by balancing our chi or vital energy.

The basis of the endocrine system is hormones and glands. They are the body's chemical messengers. Hormones transfer information and instructions from one set of cells to another. Each type of hormone is designed to affect only certain cells. Once a hormone is secreted it goes into the bloodstream and then to the cells designed to receive its message.

A gland is made up of a group of cells that produces and secretes chemicals. They select and remove materials from the blood, process them, and secrete the finished chemical product for use somewhere in the body.

The major glands are:The hypothalamus gland it is in the lower part of the brain and is the main link between the endocrine and nervous systems. The carotid plexus is connected to this gland and cranial nerves.

The pituitary gland is at the base of the brain it makes hormones that control several other endocrine glands. This glands hormone can be influenced by emotions, changes in the seasons and feelings this information comes from the hypothalamus.

It is divided into two parts: one regulates the thyroid, adrenals, and reproductive glands the other helps control the balance of water in the body, it produces endorphins that reduce feelings of pain and hormones that signals the reproductive organs.

The thyroid gland is in the neck. It’s hormones control the rate at which cells burn fuels. It is connected to the pharyngeal plexus.

Attached to the thyroid are four tiny glands called the parathyroid. They release ahormone, which regulates the level of calcium in the blood; if the level rises the parathyroid turns off the process this is called a negative feedback.

The adrenal glands have two parts; one produces hormones that regulate the salt and water balance in the body and the body's response to stress, metabolism, the immune system, and sexual development and function.

The other produces adrenaline this increases blood pressure and heart rate when the body experiences stress. This gland is connected to the solar or celiac plexus.

This is the main plexus for the abdominal region and affects the liver, the stomach, the spleen, the kidney and the pancreas.

The pancreas controls the digestive system, it produces two hormones that maintain the level of glucose in the blood that keeps the body supplied with fuel

The pineal gland is located in the middle of the brain. It secretes melatonina hormone that may help regulate your sleep pattern.

The gonads are the reproductive glands; testosterone is produced by the male, estrogenand progesterone by the female these hormones controls changes at puberty and are located in the pelvic region.

The ANS is made up of 3 groups of ganglia. These are the cranial automatic system, the sympathetic system proper, and the sacral autonomic system.  The cranial and sacral autonomic parts can be grouped together and called the parasympathetic system.

The parasympathetic and the sympathetic system work as a unit to keep the body in balance an example is there are fibers that increase and others that decrease the rate of the heartbeat. When this happens the opposite impulses are carried by the sympathetic and parasympathetic respectively.

The cranial autonomic system is made up of ganglia and fibers that connect to the cranial nerves that control the movement of the eye and runs through to the heart, bronchi and alimentary tract.

The sympathetic system consist of two chains of ganglia one either side of the front of the vertebral column.

They are connected to the corresponding nerve root of the spinal cord by fibers, some collect together to form a single large ganglia. Some of these ganglia nerves are collected into groups of plexuses.

The sacral autonomic system supplies parasympathic fibers to the pelvis, the rectum, bladder, uterus and reproductive organs. The plexus connected to this area is the pelvic plexus and the coccygeal plexus that is at the base of the spine.

The brain is in sections called lobes these deal with different applications of the body.

There are two cerebral hemispheres of cerebrum, the cerebellum, the mid brain, the poms, and the medulla oblongata. Each hemisphere is described as having frontal, parietal, temparol, occipital cerebellum and brain stem. These correspond with the names of the skull bone.

The frontal lobe deals with reward, attention, short-term memory tasks, planning and drive.

The temporal lobe with auditory perception, it is used in the processing of words, phrases, signs and symbols in both speech and vision.

The occipital lobe, is the visual processing centres its part of the brain that contains most of the structure of the visual cortex.

The parietal lobe takes sensory information to determine spatial sense and navigation. This means that this lobe can map objects seen visually into coordinated positions

The brain is divided into two parts the higher centers and the lower centers. The higher center is the seat of consciousness, mind, memory and will. The lower is in the cerebellum and the brain stem and controls breathing, heart rate, and other unconscious functions.

The neocortex, which is part of the cerebral cortex, is the center of higher-order thinking, learning, and memory. The cerebellum is responsible for the body's balance, posture, and the coordination of movement.

The cerebral cortex/ grey matter focuses on memory, attention, perceptual awareness, thought, language, and consciousness and it collects to form the basal ganglia and the hypothalamus the ganglia these work to modulate muscular movement.

The spinal cord lies in the vertebral canal. It starts at the medulla oblongata that is at the base of the brain.

There are 31 pairs of spinal nerves. These are 8 cervical, 12 thoracic or dorsal, 5 lumber, 1 coccyges.

The nerves from the lumber, sacral and coccygeal regions are in the lower spine where the spinal cord does not reach.

There is white and grey matter in the spinal cord that work with the motor and sensory functions.

Some nerves come out of the spinal cord and join together to form a plexus. The cervical nerves and sacral nerves form two plexus.

The cervical plexus lies in the upper part of the neck; these nerves are distributed to skin muscles of the head and neck. Another branch of these plexus passes down the neck to enter the thorax where it is linked to the heart it then terminates in the diaphragm.

There is a brachial plexus that’s in the lower part of the neck the nerve of the arms come from this plexus.

The 12 thoracic nerves run forward to the abdomen wall and skin that covers the thorax and the front of the abdomen.

The lumberyard plexus supple the legs ankle and feet.

Charkas are models of the way the subtle energy [chi] in our bodies can be networked into gathering points, this is thought to be similar to the way nervous energy may be net-worked in our solar plexus. Buddhist yogis developed one of the earliest models of the charkas fifteen hundred years ago.

The charkas are not physical. They interact with the physical body through the endocrine and nervous system. Each one is associated with one of the main endocrine glands, and groups of nerves called a plexus.

All senses, perceptions and all possible states of awareness, everything you experience, can be divided into seven categories that can be associated with a particular charka.

Charkas are situated at the top of the head, forehead, throat, heart, and solar plexus, the navel and at the bottom of the pelvis.

The root charka is related to the adrenal gland, the large intestine and the rectum. It influence on the kidneys.

The navel charka works with the ovaries or testicles. It also belongs to the reproduction system, the urinary bladder and kidneys.
The solar plexus works with the pancreas, the liver, gall bladder, stomach, spleen and the small intestine.
The heart charka works with the thymus and belongs to the heart and the arms.

The throat charka corresponds to the thyroid gland and works with the lungs and the throat.
The third eye (forehead) charka belongs to the brain, face, nose, eyes etc and is connected to the pituitary gland.
The crown charka does not correspond to an organ but is related to the whole being and is connected to the pineal gland.

The word Charka is Sanskrit and means a wheel, it will spin in relation to the energy level of your system. It regulates the flow of energy through our energetic body and reflect decisions we make concerning how we choose to respond to conditions in our life. They open and close when we decide what to think, and feel, and how we experience the world around us.

When you feel stress, the tension is detected by the nerves of the plexus associated with that charka, and is transmitted to the parts of the body controlled by that plexus. When the tension continues over a period of time, the person creates a symptom on the physical level.

All living cells give off invisible energies. Groups of living tissue give off a sort of light (aura) that can be seen on a Kirlian photo. Specialized groups of cells that make up physical organs create more organized energy patterns. The chakras change energy from one level to another by distributing Chi, Prana or Mana to the physical body. This is partly done through the endocrine system that regulates other systems in the body.

The concept of an aura dates back to ancient times. Walter John Kilner [1847–1920], a medical electrician at St. Thomas Hospital London started research into auras by using a specially prepared glass coated in a dye to view a subject who stood against a black background and the aura could be seen.  It looked like an etheric double connected to the physical body with two layers and that it was probably ultraviolet radiation and was not affected by electromagnets.

Kilner published his studies in 1911 proposing its existence, nature and possible use in medical diagnosis and prognosis. He thought that the human energy field was an indicator of health and mood.

By using Kilner Goggles and lights you could train the eyes to see electromagnetic radiation outside the normal spectrum of visible light and then you could dispense with the apparatus. Kilner did not recommend that you keep viewing the aura through the lenses. Because the toxicity of the chemicals.

Kilner stated the longer you look through the blue colored lens, the more sensitive the eyes become to ultraviolet and higher light spectrums. It’s in this range that Kilner believed auras occur. In 1880, Baron Karl von Reichenbach did research to investigate energy coming from the poles of a magnet and light coming from crystals and fingertips; he called it the Odic Force. Dr. John Ashburner confirmed this.

Dr. Shafica Karagulla thought the energy field could be used to heal, she could see auras and that variations in this field could be used for diagnosis of aliments. She thought that the physical body was surrounded by a physical energy field, an emotional field and was enveloped by a mental field that extended 24 inches from the body

Dr. Edward Aubert put forward the concept of aura and chakra integration when five 'vortices' were seen, which could be associated with five chakras in Hindu philosophy. He said, "It seems that we live in a vast ocean of interlacing energies" and "Each person appears to have his own method of selecting energy".

In the 1930s, Harold Saxton Burr claimed success in measure energy fields emanating from a living organism and called it the Life Field. A year Kirlian photography was discovered.

John Pierrakos was a pioneer in the holistic practice of medicine and psychology. He is known for being the first western psychiatrist to bridge psychology and spirituality.

John used his knowledge of the human energy field and the chakras to assist him in helping people heal he was able to see and perceive the human energy field and the chakras.

Traditional acupuncture is a healthcare system based on ancient principles that go back 2000 years. It looks at pain and illness as signs that the body is out of balance.

A traditional acupuncturist uses ultra-fine sterile needles inserted into specific acupuncture points to re-establish the free flow of chi or vital energy to restore the balance and trigger the body’s natural healing response. They believe that illness and pain occure when the body’s chi cannot flow freely.

There are several hundred of these points that are located along the meridians these connect to points across the anatomy and affect a specific organ or other part of the body.

There is not much physical evidence for the existence of acupuncture points but research suggests that acupuncture points may be associated with the activation of specific brain areas using functional magnetic resonance imaging or areas of low electrical impedance in the body.

We are being inspired to post these two papers for a deeper understanding of energy.

Barbara Neville A3 Section 6 Other External Influences Personal no 0/01/028 date 14/11/10

The biological clock, which is now called the circadian rhythm, is a pattern that fits into the 24 hour of the day and night. The overview of this clock shows how a person who gets up early responds to the time during the 24 hours. If we can understand and use this clock we could have better health work and sleep patterns.

The clock can be disrupted by air travel to another

Time zone on the planet. This is called jet lag.

There is also a circannual rhythm this is the yearly rhythm and indicates the times in the year when birds migrate and animals like squirrels and hedgehogs hibernate. In the fauna it controls the growth of plants to grow, flower and set seed. This is dependant on the position of the sun reflecting onto the earth.

The magnetic field and gravitation are both natural effects of our earth. As kids we learnt about them in a very simplistic way; like gravity is what makes the apple fall to earth and why we do not all float out into space. The magnet is similar we were shown how it attracts iron clippings and how they make a beautiful pattern according to the two poles.

All of the universe and everything in it is affected by magnetism and gravity and its all linked together there is no separation. There is a theory of a unified field that connects all things in the universe, us as humans and all life known and unknown. What this could mean is that I am connected to the moon, all the planets, the galaxy, and all other bodies and energies in the universe. In my own right I know I am connected to other people, animals and plants. The connections are there through the aura, magnetism, electro magnetic, energy and gravity and perhaps consciousness, spirit and the soul

The first accounts of the biological clock cycles were in the 4th century by a ships captain observing the movement of the leaf of a tree during a 24-hour period. In 1918 it was understood that animals are capable of maintaining a 24-hour activity pattern even when there was no external prompting. [1 ]

Franz Holberg first used the term circadian in the 1950s instead of biological clock. The circadian rhythms are thought to have originated in the earliest cells to protect the replication of DNA from high ultra violet rays during the daytime. Because of this, replication was relegated to the dark. There is a fungus that exists today that has retained this clock-regulated mechanism.

Circadian rhythms do not have to be daily but can last as long as a year such as circannual rhythms

Sleep is one of the main functions of circadian rhythm but there are other examples that include, body temperature, blood pressure, production of hormones and digestive secretions. These rhythms do not only take place in humans but are present in a lot of other organisms. There is a combination of environmental and internal factors that control the rhythm. The most common environmental factors are temperature and light.

The internal one is known as a circadian pacemaker

or a biological clock. This "clock" is the section

of the brain that is called the suprachiasmatic

nucleus (SCN). This is a pair of structures that

contain about 20, 000 neurons and is located in the

hypothalamus above where the optic nerves cross.

This explains its reaction to light. Signals from light are received by the SCN taken in by the retina.

The human sleep cycle is the best-known circadian rhythm. Sleep is controlled by neurotransmitters, this act on neurons in the brainstem and spinal cord; the signals are produced by the SCN and travel to different regions of the brain. It regulates the sleep cycle function, body temperature, hormone secretion, urine production, and changes in blood pressure.

The sleep/wake cycle in humans is dependent on light and temperature. There are external factors that affect the circadian rhythm. These could be an alarm clock or meal times.

Melatonin is an internal factor that affects the clock. This is a chemical that is produced by the pineal gland and it has a day/night function. It peaks during darkness and lowers during the day. It can shift biological rhythms.

This can be used for therapeutic measures for human health problems and other cycles such as in sheep to control breeding cycles.

The rhythms of the circadian cycle are fundamental to all organisms. They are driven by an internal time-keeping system: a clock. Changes in the outside environment entrain this clock. There is a period of approximately a 24-hour rhythm driven by the clock when there is no time cue.

When birds migrate south from north or the other way round they are signalled by circannual rhythms. The change in temperature and in the length of day, plus a signal for navigation comes from within on first flight. The bird also learns over a period of time as it continues to fly adjusting to its current environment. This shows how a combination of external and internal signals a bird to migrate.

In 1997   a gene for the biological clock in a mouse was identified and cloned. It was used to restore a functioning biological clock to a line of mutant mice, which had lost normal circadian rhythms; this proved the identification of the “Clock” gene. These mice then passed the gene onto their descendants.

Gravitation is when objects with mass attract one another. In everyday life, its gravitation that keeps us from floating off into space, it’s what gives weight to objects with mass and causes them to fall to the ground when dropped.

Gravitation is a universal phenomenon, in our solar system the sun is the biggest object and all the planets are attracted to it. In the universe our solar system is attracted to the centre of our galaxy, so it keeps its place in the outer rim of the Milky Way and at just the right place for our solar system to support life.

If I were standing on the moon my weight would be lighter than what it is on earth. This is because the gravity on the moon is not as strong as it is on earth. Most of the planets have gravity but they are at different strengths to the earth

Gravity exists as one of the four fundamental interactions of nature.

Newton and Einstein both had theories as to what gravity is and how it works.

Newton’s thought that the force of gravity on Earth was the same force that organized the motions of all the planets around the sun. He then worked out the math’s to calculate the way these bodies move and used the inverse square equations to do this.

Einstein’s idea was that any particles would not move in a straight line in space. They will be attracted to each other. He thought there is a 4th dimension called space-time, his theory is that a heavy object will ‘warp’ space-time and create a dent in it that keeps the position of the object in its place.

The latest theory is particles called gravitons and a graviton wave. These could responsible for the attraction between particles large and small bodies.

The effects of gravity keeps us attracted to the earth, the amount of attraction is according to the weight of the earth and distance from the sun. The tension created by gravity is not big because we can move around on earth without being squashed by it. It is just right for life to flourish on earth.

Nobody fully understands how gravity works, or even why gravity exists. It has been around since the very beginning of the universe and it works the same way everywhere in the universe.

After the big bang, gravity pulled atoms together to make stars and planets. Once these had formed, gravity kept the planets in orbit around the stars, and moons orbiting around the planets. And on each planet that is large enough, gravity keeps an atmosphere around it.

Gravity works on all kinds of different objects, of all different sizes larger than atoms - atomic forces hold those together instead. The bigger an object is, and the closer you are to it, the stronger its gravitational pull is.

On Earth, gravity keeps the air around us and everything else from drifting off into space. The rotation of the Earth and the gravitational effects of the Moon and Sun cause the movement of tides. It also causes hot air to rise while colder air falls, which in turn creates wind and weather.

The convection keeps our planet at the correct temperature by cooling the molten core of the earth. The cooling mechanism of the earth through the gravity and the magnetic field creates another perfect setup for life on earth. Magnetism is another natural force that the earth and solar system respond to.

The magnetic field of earth is produced and maintained by the movement of the liquid iron in the outer core. A rotating fluid is required to maintain this field this is described by maths and is called the induction equation.

Scientists think that the electrical currents flowing in the liquid outer core deep inside the Earth generates the magnetic field. This liquid moves around through a process called convection. The movement sets up the currents and magnetic field. Scientist’s think this is linked to the earth’s rotation. This field is not stable and over time the north and south change places.

All magnets are surrounded by a force field that is strongest at the poles [the ends] of the magnet. The poles are north or south. Opposite poles attract each other whilst two of the same type repel each other.

The earth produces a magnetized field and behaves as if it has a huge magnet inside it. The field extends out into space and is known as the magnetosphere, this field deflects the Solar winds away from earth and protects the atmosphere.

The sun emits streams of charged particles into space that can be attracted by the earth magnetic poles. The particles then interact with air molecules in the upper atmosphere and produces beautiful patterns of light known as Aurora Borealis in the north and Aurora Australis in the south pole.

Other planets have a magnetic field Jupiter, Neptune, Saturn and Uranus has a stronger one that earth, whereas mercury venues and mars have weaker fields.

Magnets are made artificially now. The first compasses were made from a naturally occurring magnetic mineral lob stone now called magnetite. The Chinese used this mineral for their first compass. The magnetic compass is an instrument that can be used to navigate the world. The needle always points to the North Pole. This Pole is slowly changing position so special charts are used to correct these changes so that the compass can be accurate.

Animals and humans are able to sense the magnetic field. The animals that possess a magnetic sense are able to identify direction and navigate over long distances. Researchers have found that these animals have deposits of biological magnetite in their nervous systems these magnet-like minerals align themselves with the magnetic fields of the Earth and might act like microscopic compass needles

Marine animals, like salmon, whales and turtles, are known to migrate with the seasons, they can sense the direction and strength of the earth’s magnetic field, which they use for navigating along their regular migration route

Cattle and red and roe deer tend to situate themselves on a magnetic North-South to the earth’s magnetic field. Some people report that they can sense Magnetic North. At the California Institute of Technology Dr. Kirschvink detected magnetite in the human brain and heart. This could help the orientation sense of humans.

It is thought that maintaining a symmetric position to the earth’s field lines could influences certain physiological processes. For example, the onset of rapid eye movement in sleeping humans is shortened in the E-W orientation of sleepers compared to the N-S position.

Processes in the magnetosphere and solar wind produce magnetic waves that influence us.These are called Ultra Low Frequencies (ULF) and geomagnetic pulsations; there are others that are called pulsations continuous (Pc) and pulsations irregular (Pi).

The lower the osculation the more effects it has on life. There are some waves that pulse at the same rate as the heart and the brain. There have been a lot of studies on these matters. For instance it seems that some people sleep better when facing the n/s alignment.

Man is closely linked to the magnetism of earth and the universe. Studies of the effects of the suns solar winds and sun spot activity have proved that there are times when the sun is active and then quiet. This has an effect on our ability to be psychic and also to be able to focus the mind and study and learn. [no 2 ]

The sun creates solar storms most of this deflected away from the earth by the magnetosphere. This causes geomagnetic storms in space. These transfer some energy to the magnetosphere causing fluctuations of direction and speed to the magnetosphere. The earth has geomagnetic fields, GMF.

This field differs in different region and various times. Changes in the solar system, the activity of the sun, the movement of the planets and the daily oscillations of the earth’s rotation, or geological changes on earth, like ground water or the movement of the earth inner core. These can alter the strength of the earths GMF daily.

The differences have an effect on the orientation of animals such as dolphins and pigeons that use the magnetic field to navigate.

Because of space flight the scientist found that low frequency magnetic oscillations have a profound effect on nearly all-cellular and chemical process in living things. There research found that that if a cosmonaut had a cardiac arrest it was usually during a magnetic storm. [3 ]

Illness on earth also seemed to parallel geomagnetic activities in space. Heart attacks rates rise and fall according to solar cyclic activity. The bigger number of sudden death from heart disease happens within a day of a geomagnetic storm. These storms have an effect upon mental health.

When you think about what magnetism is it stands to reason that the effects on life are great, we are made up of the same stuff.

The evidence for life after death has still not been proven by science. The evidence is that man is sensitive to energy sources that are to refine to measure and can only be measured through experience. Everybody has had a sensitive feeling of energy in certain places.

We are much more than a physical body; our body houses a conscious soul, spirit energy that is sensitive to all other things on earth and in the universe. There is so much more to learn about these subtle energies. Man has only just touched on this aspect of life. The evidence is in how we feel, act and exist. Personally I wanted to understand these aspects of life so I developed my subtle energies and became a medium. I have first hand experience of the communication involved in clairvoyance healing and channeling. I meditate regularly and have learnt about the science through this course. Without doubt I know that I am able to tune into another level of energy that exists in the universe and me to help me to learn and give info to others who are in need of comfort and I am conscious of doing this.

This is my evidence. Physicists examining the quantum theory might get closer to a truth about these energy’s, in the mean time my reasoning is that no energy is lost only changed. So when my body dies my chi or life force, soul or spirit will go into the unified field /source that I came from in the first place.

My experience in the physical world will not be lost only transferred and maybe used in another way. William Tiller has proved the thought; intent and conscious positive energy can be captured and used in another place. [4 ]] Man is not educated or evolved enough yet for this kind of energy to be available to all peoples.

It can be done as I have proven for myself on a small scale, with my years of study of chi kung, tai chi, meditation, spiritual learning and conscious thought. But the sort of discipline needed is great and most people are not ready, to busy or just do not want to know about it enough to learn yet. Over time this will change I have no doubt about this it is the natural way of man becoming more evolved.
